Bio: A true cosmopolitan, German born and raised Anette Isaacs did her graduate work at EMORY University, Georgia, the University of VIENNA and at the Free University in BERLIN and holds a Master´s Degree in American Studies, Political Science, and History. Since 1998, she has been working as Director for GROUP I.S.T.  GERMANY, running and organizing all the current and existing German I.S.T. / EXPLORITAS (formerly ELDERHOSTEL) programs. In her capacity as academic director, Ms. Isaacs has created a number of very successful seminars, programs and lectures introducing her native country Germany to thousands of American, British, and also German tourists. An avid opera lover, she has conceived the Exploritas seminar Opera and Classical Music in Berlin, Dresden, and Leipzig which, since its inception in 2003, has ranked among the most popular programs that Exploritas offers.
